Sapphire City Psychology provides Face to Face or Telehealth appointments for adult individuals seeking psychological support. Appointments can be arranged via direct contact from you, or from referral from a third party.
A special interest of Sapphire City Psychology is supporting clients who are experiencing difficulties following exposure to trauma. Traumatic events are subjective and can include any adverse life experiences that have a lasting negative effect on you, and can be from a recent trauma exposure, or from traumatic events much earlier in your lifetime.
We offer evidence-based treatments that are known to be effective for healing trauma including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) developed by Francine Shapiro, and Flash Technique developed by Philip Manfield. Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is another evidence-based treatment used at Sapphire City Psychology that can be used for reducing the impact of trauma and for the effective treatment of depression, anxiety, stress management and many other difficulties that people may experience.
If you are seeking treatment for trauma, or for any other matter, please contact us via the details provided on our contact page.
